Abstract

Users of geographic information systems require access to a wide variety of applications including mapping, image processing, and topographic analysis. Because different applications are best served by different data representations, some applications will suffer if all data are forced to conform to a single - possibly cumbersome - representations to co-exist and even work together in real time. In this paper we propose several novel techniques for merging data representations on command. -from Authors
