Abstract

A ruthenium complex containing both carbon monoxide and isocyanide ligands was synthesized. The complex was analyzed by several methods and was characterized as the dimer {RuCl₂[(CH₃)₃CNC]₂(CO)}₂. Depending on the reaction temperature, two isomers, trans and cis were observed and were studied by means of infrared spectroscopy.
