Abstract

New techniques for processing high temperature superconducting oxides are discussed. Powdered superconducting material is fed into either a plasma spray or hypersonic flame spray system, which deposits the material onto suitably prepared substrates. A post‐spray anneal yields coatings with transition temperatures above the boiling point of liquid nitrogen. 1987 The American Ceramic Society
