Abstract
The ordering of dPS-PVP triblock copolymer thin films on silica surfaces have been studied by a variety of techniques (AFM, TEM, SIMS), as a function of time and temperature. The results show the ordering to initiate at the sample interfaces and the surface morphology (islands or holes) to be directly related to the degree of order in the bulk. Reasonable scaling of the data for time and temperature could be obtained using an expression for the co-polymer diffusion coefficient based on the WLF equation was in good agreement with the data.
