Abstract
The generation of transmission schedules for self-organizing radio networks by traffic sensitive algorithms is described. A centralized “Traffic” algorithm that can be used as a performance benchmark is presented. Also described is a distributed “degree” algorithm that is a traffic sensitized version of an algorithm developed by Ephremides and Truong. Two performance measures for comparing schedules and simulation results are also presented.
