Abstract
The transition metal complexes containing trans-spanning diphosphine ligands were analyzed. The ligand positions in trans-spanning tertiary phosphine ligands can be sterically crowded or sheltered and the trans-spanning linkages can be modified. To fully realize the reactive potential of transition-metal complexes that contain trans-spanning tertiary phosphine ligands, it is necessary to develop ligands where isomerization is reduced.
