Abstract
The use of Raman Lidar to acquire profiles of water vapor and clouds was studied. The Lidar profiles were coupled with radiosonde measurements of temperature and pressure for the study of the retrievals from Aqua satellite and the radiances of the AIRS sensors. The comparisons of the AIRS observed radiances and calculations based on validation measurements were also presented.
