Abstract
Nonsustained ventricular tachycardia was the initial and only clinical manifestation of myocardial ischemia in a 64-year-old woman evaluated for new onset palpitations. There was no ECG or echocardiographic evidence of ischemia but emergent coronary angiography revealed critical lesions. After angioplasty and stenting of the right coronary artery, ventricular ectopy disappeared. This report documents a mechanism of initiation of sustained ventricular arrhythmias.
