Wide-band, high-power mm-wave FEL driven by a storage ring

Abstract

A high power CW mm-Wave source driven by a compact electron storage ring with modest size and energy is presented. Being an FEL, this source is capable of wide-band and fast tunability from sub-mm to tens of mm. The expected performance of such mm-wave FEL is presented.
