Abstract
A simplified technique for preparation of the window and elevation of the sinus membrane using conventional instruments is described for the practitioner to prepare the Schneiderian membrane without perforations in an easy and time efficient method. The clinician uses a combination of a mallet and a mirror holder to break the buccal aspect of the maxillary sinus border after a small osteotomy has been made. This is a complication-free procedure.
