Zero value for the three-loop function in N=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory

Abstract

This Letter describes a calculation using superfield techniques, showing that the function is zero to three loops in N=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory. This result gives further indication that the theory is likely to be finite and conformally invariant order by order in perturbation theory.
